MIDAS® Valve Diagnostics : New Case Study Videos

Score Diagnostics have recently developed a new series of video case studies, to help both our customers and team members alike, gain an insight into some of the key benefits of using the MIDAS Meter® valve condition monitoring device (such as troubleshooting problem valves, non-invasive valve testing inline, avoiding costly alternative valve testing techniques such as pressure build-up tests, pre-shutdown / turnaround planning, flare line loss and emissions reduction, backlog maintenance prioritisation and recovery, maintenance cost reduction, environmental protection, efficiency maximisation, etc).

We encourage you to view these consistently formatted short explanatory videos. We hope you find them to be of interest and value to you and your local customers, whom we recommend you share these resources with, as appropriate.

This latest series of case study videos add to an already extensive range of resources for MIDAS® Valve Diagnostics products and services which are readily available on our YouTube Channel, as well as the media sections on the MIDAS® Valve Diagnostics website. Don’t forget to subscribe / follow, to receive our latest updates as they are released.

Should you have any questions on reviewing these resources, or if you would like further information or a quotation for any of our valve condition monitoring equipment or services, please contact us immediately, by email, at; midas.enquiries@score-group.com  We look forwardPicture1 to hearing from you.

PEMAC Webinar

It was an honour and a pleasure to be invited as panellists and speakers at the Plant Engineering And Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC), Fort McMurray Chapter, Online Professional Development Event on “Capabilities and Tools for Carbon Emissions Monitoring and Reduction”.

The mission of PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada is to be “A professional association enabling excellence in maintenance, reliability, and asset management through collaboration, applied learning & leadership”.

Given Score Group’s long track record and experience in optimising valve reliability through Intelligent Valve Management™, we are very well aligned to help them fulfil their mission.

Despite the 1am UK start time for one of our presenters, the audience was fresh and alert in Canada – who were of course 7 hours behind. We received some great questions and look forward to helping all stakeholders in attendance with their Fugitive Emissions / Carbon Emissions Reduction efforts moving forward.

If you would like to find out more about how we can help you reduce your emissions, please contact us now by email at; midas.enquiries@score-group.com

MIDAS® Valve Diagnostics Immersions Program (Norway / Malaysia / Indonesia / Australia / Canada)

Score Diagnostics have been working hard over the past few months running MIDAS® Valve Diagnostics Immersion training sessions over “Teams” to our global locations, given the travel restrictions which are in place due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The purpose of these sessions is to enhance the knowledge and confidence of our team members on our MIDAS® Range of Valve Diagnostics / Condition Monitoring equipment and systems, as well as our service delivery experiences, to ensure that the best possible local support can be provided to our customers at every location globally.

So far, we have had the great pleasure in sharing this knowledge with our Score team members in the Far East (Malaysia and Indonesia), Norway, Australia and Canada.

We would like to say a big thanks again to everyone that has attended these sessions and made them successful. We really hope that you enjoyed the experience too and that our joint customers in these regions can benefit from this investment in your learning and experience.

We look forward to our next meeting with you all, hopefully in person, once global travel restrictions ease.

Focal Points Engagement

Score Diagnostics recently took part in a well-attended and most enjoyable online “Teams” session with our UK-Based Focal Points, where we shared our knowledge, case studies and news on recent and forthcoming products and services developments.

On-Site Services, Asset Management and Valve Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics were the three key areas of our Group-wide business that we focused on in this session, specifically on how and where we are delivering increasing value to both our contract and non-contract customers, through the provision of our products and services in these areas.

We would like to say a big thank you again to all that took part in this session and we look forward to having more of these moving forward.

If you would like to know more about Score’s Valve Management Strategies, Valve Condition Monitoring Equipment and Services or On-Site Valve Repair and Maintenance Services capabilities, please do drop us an e-mail at; midas.enquiries@score-group.com

FE Journal Americas : Emissions Reduction Technical Article and Case Study

We would like to say a big thanks to Stephanie Matas and all the team at the Fugitive Emissions Journal (Americas), who published our follow-up MIDAS Meter® case study, in support of our recent article on “Reducing emissions through the use of Acoustic Emissions (AE) Valve Condition Monitoring Technology” (which is available to read through our LinkedIn Showcase page at – https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6676082519500177408 ).

Score Diagnostics are delighted to be working with them and to see this good news story being released.

The first part of the article focused on current market conditions and how emissions from unintended flaring can be reduced through the use of Acoustic Emissions (AE) Valve Condition Monitoring Technology.

The second part highlighted a real-life MIDAS Meter® case study – in support of the part 1 strategy piece – highlighting how certified Score Valve Services survey engineers recovered the equivalent of $340k per annum in lost product for our joint customer, as well as dramatically reducing their operating environmental impact, by reducing flare gas volumes by the equivalent of over 147.3 Lbs/Hr, through a fast and easy in-line survey of 62 flare line valves.

The full article is now available for circulation in pdf format and if you would like a copy, just let us know and we will happily share this with you.

Score Group Customers worldwide can benefit from the deployment of this simple to use, non-invasive valve condition monitoring equipment (MIDAS Meter®) so why not contact us today to realise your own savings…

IPEIA Conference and Exhibition 2020

Thanks to everyone that visited our Score Canada booth at IPEIA 2020 in beautiful Banff (Alberta, Canada) this year. We received excellent feedback on our previous Intelligent Valve Management™ services provision from many of our existing customers in the Canadian market.

There was also a lot of excitement generated by our MIDAS Meter®, MIDAS® Sensor and V-MAP® products, for valve condition and performance monitoring. These products are designed to help process owners and operators optimise the reliability of critical valves, through deploying both Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and Continuous Monitoring (CM) strategies.

We are continuing to follow up on all leads generated from attending this event and look forward to working closely with all stakeholders in the Canadian market locally, on the further supply of all our products and services moving forward to optimise valve reliability over time.IPEIA 2020 - Grouped

Norwegian Sector North Sea Oil Production Platform’s V-MAP® System Extended

The manufacture and supply of hardware to expand one of our existing Norwegian Sector North Sea Oil Production Platform’s V-MAP® system has been completed with the client’s factory acceptance test (FAT) of the instrumentation cabinet being successfully certified.

On this project, “benchmarking” of the valve and actuator assemblies at the valve manufacturer’s works was also completed, to ensure all valves and actuators were functioning within the customer’s required specifications. This activity has also provided the project with ‘as new’ valve torque and actuator pressure profiles for comparison purposes over the valve assemblies’ life cycles.

Further offshore commissioning activities are scheduled for this project in Q2/Q3 of 2020.

The further expansion of this V-MAP® system again demonstrates our customers’ confidence in our V-MAP® system and the value they are gaining from it when coupled with Score’s extensive valve diagnostics knowledge and support.
